Does Hulk Hogan have one rule for the Knockouts and a different one for everyone else?

Recently on TNA, Hulk Hogan stated a wrestler could not hold more than one championship at a time. Correct me if am wrong but it was Austin Aries he was talking too.

Yet it was few months back Gail Kim was holding the Knockouts Title and Knockouts Tag Team Titles at the same time. Maybe the rule only come in to effect in the last few weeks or does Hulk seem to forget the Knockouts exist sometimes.

Update:

I know Brooke Hogan's the VP of the Knockouts Division now but even before she was in the role a few weeks back.

I don't think Hogan said it was a rule so much as he said he didn't WANT one person holding more than one championship. If I remember right he said (or implied) that it wouldn't be fair to the rest of the roster to have more than one championship on any single wrestler.

But I think it was more because of the two championships in question. TNA does want to keep the X Division and the...uh, heavyweight division as two separate entities with their own identities and championships. I really don't think that "rule" or "want" applies to singles and tag team titles being held by the same guy/girl.

And it gives a valid reason for the "X Division Champ given the opportunity to trade in that title for a shot at the World Title at Destination X" angle they want to start doing every year.

WWE does stuff like that too. I call it, "Oh, We Say That Didn't We?" Syndrome. It's live so he either improv'd that, it was written because they forgot about Gail or the rule was recently made.
