Can you have concealed weapons in California?
I'm a really paranoid guy.Just 1 little bump in the night is enough to make me think some robber is coming. So my question is,in the state of California, are you allowed to conceal a pistol, knife, etc? If not,can you carry them around unconcealed(while getting odd looks from everyone at the grocery store)?

As long as you have a permit you can carry your weapon. A business can refuse to allow you entry armed though, permit or not.

California is a “May Issue” state; the decision to grant a CCW (Carry a Concealed Weapon) Permit being granted (or more often refused) at the discretion of the County Sheriff or Police Chief. Some sheriffs/chiefs issue on a reasonable basis, others can be next to impossible to persuade. Many of them, such as LAPD, LASO, Marin SO, SDSO, SFSO and SFPD, (to name just a few) operate Constitutionally illegal policies that are ripe for a legal challenge.

A fixed blade knife cannot be carried concealed on your person under state law, and no permit is available to allow you to do so. Firearms can be loaded and/or concealed in your home or place of business. In public, however, handguns cannot be carried openly at all without a concealed weapons permit, and long guns cannot be carried loaded. Permits tend to be easier to get in rural areas, and harder in urban areas.

not really. you technically can but it is very hard to get one. you have to prove that you are in danger and need one for protection. some professions are allowed to have them though im not sure which.
