I'm going over some calculus review, but I'm already stumped due to seeing:

Find the derivative of y=x^2 with respect to ln x

According to the answer key, the answer is 2x^2. Could someone explain to me how to solve this problem? I don't expect a full step to step guide but an explanation of how to start off the problem would help. The "with respect to" part confuses me the most.

How can I convince her that my dad isn't?

Most of her accusations are completely ridiculous...

Every little thing seems to be related to his "mistress".

He goes to work->He's going to see her.

He uses the restroom->They're both in there.

He gets a single missed call since he left his phone on his desk at work and had to go get something real quick->He's ignoring her(mom).

He gets angry at all of these accusations->Mistress's fault

I think I may have social anxiety,but I don't know about any psychiatrists or therapists or anything similar.Would my pediatrician have any knowledge about that or possibly know about someone who can help me with this?

Over the years,I have been cutting my nails really short,and eventually it somehow caused my big toe nails to be fine on 1 side(right on the left foot,left on the right foot),but it grows sideways on the other.Is this an ingrown toe nail?Should I ask my doctor about it?

According to the story of Noah's Ark,a global flood happened,and a crud load of species were loaded onto 1 ship by Noah and his family.Assuming evolution doesn't exist,and none of the other issues such as the gene pool being too small and lack of food and room,where would the parasites go?Putting them in a box wouldn't had worked since parasites are parasites for a reason,and the animals probably wouldn't be too happy about Noah trying to put parasites in them.

I'm trying to get into Berkeley but my freshman year has been less than easy...failed a class(Spanish)...was put into another class this semester(geography) and not doing so well in that either(D is my current grade)...will these prevent me from getting into a good college?

My mom has had some sort of mental illness for decades now...and whenever she doesn't take her medicine,she will randomly become angry and occasionally compressed after the anger...my dad really can't take it anymore and they always yell at each other when this happens...is there a name for this illness and is it curable?

I'm a freshman and I failed Spanish last semester(well more like I failed half of it and was luckily removed from the class) and I'm bound to fail geography this semester...

Do I have to retake them in order to graduate?
