Could someone explain this calculus problem to me, please?

I'm going over some calculus review, but I'm already stumped due to seeing:

Find the derivative of y=x^2 with respect to ln x

According to the answer key, the answer is 2x^2. Could someone explain to me how to solve this problem? I don't expect a full step to step guide but an explanation of how to start off the problem would help. The "with respect to" part confuses me the most.

the question doesnt seem to make any sense. and the derivative of x^2 is 2x. wtf does with respect to mean?

I know that the derivative of lnx is 1/x, so maybe that will help?
