So...fellow atheists...?

If your child(ren) convert to a religion,would you accept their choice?

And would you agree to take them to their religious services?

Update:

@Truth-I said to a religion,not from.

Update 2:

@Truth-From any other religion or lack of religion

    Convert from what?

    Anyway, it's harmful to my children, so no. I'm not allowing any cult to take my child.

    EDIT: A conversion is from one religion to another.

  • Let them make their own decision, as a man who has researched and read the bible and became an atheist I realize why people would be religious. There is a lot of fear control involved. Just let them find their own way. Be a supportive parent don't push your beliefs on others.

    We chose not to have children. We could not bear the idea of raising a child in a world where >80% of its population is superstitious. Why have a child when the world is in such a mess.

    I would still accept my child and support his or her decision because I believe a parent's job for his/her child is to love them rather than controlling their lives or making decisions for them.

    No that's a mortal sin, and I'll tell them if they don't convert back to atheism, instead of following their false god, they'll suffer with eternal damnation in hell.

    That's reasonable, isn't it? After all, Christians do the same threats.

    I would accept and take them. I'm not a fanatic of either side. I think everyone should be free to choose what they want.

  • Its their choice. As long as they don't shove their religion down everyone's throat, im fine.

    If they were under 18 I wouldn't allow their minds to be perverted by that superstitious gibberish.
