Skyrim Quest Bug Won't Start Quest?

Question

Okay, so I joined the Stormcloaks, finished "Message to Whiterun", all objectives complete, and it still won't start the Battle quest. I've talked to Galmar and Ulfric, waited 24 hours at a time and kept talking, still no results. I've been stuck on this quest for the past 4 days (real time) and I haven't found any answers on the web.

Progressing through Message to Whiterun while Season Unending was still open would block progression for both quests This bug is fixed by version 1.4 of the Official Skyrim Patch. 

You may also use console commands to progress through the stages since you're on PC.

100  Ulfric plans to make war on Whiterun. I should return and warn the Jarl.
