I like to invent things and that what i want to do when i grow up but everyone tells me i should just give up?

Many great people of our planet were versatile geniuses. Go after what u like. But its also important to listen to your parents. U should tell them about this & ask for their opinion.

You should not give up.

You should do what you love.

If you're a great writer, I think you should also have a career in writing.

It's because inventing will not guarantee you earnings.

hi surfer girl creating and makings is vary fun, what if u made a special surf board for the handi capped , or sthe blind that say to them go left right ect..u should never let poele tell u cant do anything.. invinting things helps more people than u can imagine. i love to make things its fun.. you should keepan invention book to help u become more organized and keep inventing things.. also a website called makezine is vary helpful..good luck..

People become pros because they're good at something. You have to be interested to be good at something. You shouldn't give up. I like inventing stuff too; it makes me feel like i've achieved something :) you need to be creative and pursue your dreams. Don't listen to others; your life will be boring if you do. Be a successful inventor, and prove them wrong ;)

maybe you could invent things as a part time thing, and maybe aim for a job thats stable... then maybe later on in life you can branch off and invent things for money, business partnerships, etc.

Dont listen to what others feel you should do. You decide what you wanna become, not anyone else. You don't even have to listen to us :p.
