Why is it the only thing we keep hearing from the GOP is" We will repeal the Affordable Care Act?

The American people are actually laughing at the GOP for this so called cry of theirs to repeal the Affordable Care act to be quite boring now. They say repeal and replce but have yet to say replace the Affordable Care Act with WHAT?

They were the ones who always complained about people going to the hospital and not paying. Now that people will have to pay they are complaining about that.

They have no clue about this and they would rather lie about it than to find out the truty. They are the negatives in life that's it.

They are positive about war though & anything that hurts people. They area a bunch of sadistical liars.

I was going to recommend that you read

    BASIC ECONOMICS by Thomas Sowell,

    but I have one better.

Instead, read THE ROAD TO SERFDOM by F.A.Hayek.

Learn how visionaries of the past, like Hitler, Mussolini, Lenin and Stalin

all promised a bright future for their people.

A future where the workers, or those representing the working class, would

lead the masses toward a Workers' Paradise.

It didn't happen all at once.

The canard played out step by step.

A little socialism here, a little socialism there.

Then the f**king trap shut tight!!

    No where to run,

No where to escape, except perhaps Soviet slave labor camps

    or Nazi extermination enclosures.

    Nah, you don't see it.

    And neither did they.

As intelligent as you think you are, and as well-informed as you think you are - if you think that "the only thing we keep hearing" is what you say it is, well, you just aren't listening. The GOP has responded and commented - in speeches and in writing - on just about every political issue facing this country today, and has been for years.

Perhaps you're bored - well, so be it. The information is out there - you can find it with a few clicks of your mouse - but you are too willing to believe the Liberal rhetoric that wants to paint the GOP as obstructionist and devoid of ideas.

I've said it before - that I'm very cynical about this kind of question because every time I answer it I am either the recipient of a half-dozen "thumbs down" or I'm simply blocked.

You can disagree with the GOP on practical points, on economic points, on philosophical and political points - you can go head to head with them on the interpretation of the constitution - but to say that they have no ideas, that they haven't said over and over again just what they will replace the ACA with, to say that they have not published papers and speech transcripts and official campaign points is simply ignorant, uninformed and lazy.

The Republicans had a robust, well-thought out plan which they brought to the table during the healthcare debates of 2010. They were not granted a seat at the table. The GOP published their points on the Internet; Romney has outlined his plan on his web site, alternatives are discussed daily on such conservative web sites as the Heritage Foundation, on Mitch McConnell's web site, on opinion pages in the Washington Post, the LA Times, the Wall Street Journal by such writers as Charles Krauthammer, George Will, and Kathleen Parker.

You just aren't listening - you just aren't reading. You are just too willing to be spoon fed this anti-GOP rhetoric and then spit it back out.

Why do we keep hearing Ignorant Boob jackass Liberals referring to their little group as "the American people"

WHAT Group stands in any type of agreement on this as a good thing?

Go Ahead, Show your ignorance some more.

Has YOUR healthcare gotten More Affordable? Well? Has It?

Not only that, but they'll need at least 60 votes in the Senate in order to do that, which is highly unlikely. This is merely a frivolous attempt to take away President Obama's key accomplishment and ruin his chances at re-election, not to mention a far cry from their campaign about "jobs jobs jobs" in 2010. Speaker Boehner said he would create jobs, but where are they??

They shouldn't be whining. This bill that passed was 'edited' by the republicans, more so than the democrats, so if they want to repeal it or whine about it, they should start with John Boehner, because after all, he did say that 'he got everything he wanted' put into the bill.

the supreme court actually made it easier......now that it is a tax all the congress has to do is repeal the tax.....republicans already control the house, and in nov we will occupy the white house, the only thing is to take control of the senate....because repealing it only requires a simple majority in the senate

Kiss it good buy in November. Oh and keep on laughing afterwards it will be good for your health. It is just another fine thing the current occupant of the White house has done. Can only wonder what other messes will happen. Thanks for the two points.

It’s easy to be AGAINST everything, hence their nickname, “The Party of NO.” It’s hard to actually try to solve problems.

I give great credit to Obama for doing what no other president has been able to do for 100 years. Not the safest political choice, so a big thumbs up to Obama, a man with some integrity.

The GOP children need to go.

It isn't all you hear about if you're listening, but you do hear a lot about it because it is the current, popular issue given the recent SCOTUS decision. That wasn't hard.

Let me ask you something...Why is Obama claiming a "victory" in something that only proves him to be a liar??
