Can you try an explain how nerves send signals to the brain?
Like how nerves send some form of signal to the brain and the brains responds to that :) what are those signals, electricity?

Okay... so basically a receptor detects a stimulus (change), a sensory neurone is stimulated and chemicals (sodium and potassium ions) move in and out of the nerve cell, this is known as an action potential. This action potential moves along the nerve cell. At the end of the nerve cell you have a synapse, the nerve cell can communicate with other nerve cells or to the brain, likewise certain chemicals (calcium ions) move in and out of the nerve cells, this results in another action potential and the brain registers this action potential as being whatever (pain, heat etc.)
The movement of ions bascially creates an electrochemical gradient in other words electricity.
