I heard a quote once that I like and I want to know who it is attributed to and the exact phrase. I can't remember exactly how it goes, but it is something like this:
"Everything the communists told us about communism was a lie, unfortunately everything the communist told us about capitalism was the truth"

Google turned up two similar versions of the quote, and neither has a specific attribution (anywhere from "a friend of mine once said" to "a joke on the streets of Moscow goes..."
"Everything the Communists told us about communism was a complete and utter lie. Unfortunately, everything the Communists told us about capitalism turned out to be true."
"Everything Marx told us about communism was false. But it turns out that everything he told us about capitalism was true."
