MAC users, Can I add Windows 7 to OS X as a dual boot?

All you MAC techs thanks for your help. I have very little experience with MACs and here's the situation; I have a MAC laptop with OS X on it. I need to run a program that is a Windows only platform. Can I partition the drive and install W7? Any tips would be helpful.

In Finder look for boot camp assistant. There you can configure the partition size you want allocated to Windows 7. Then, restart insert your Windows 7 disk and boot to the disk, and install Windows as you normally would.

Note: You need a legitimate copy of Windows 7 to do this.
