What are these Yellow Poles with whited domed caps doing in backyard of prospective property?
We are looking at a house to buy. The backyard has a downward slope. In about the middle of the backyard on the left side there are Two Yellow Poles about 5 inches in diameter, 5 feet high, with a White domed cap. What could these be? Do they indicate Flood levels or something? House is in MN and there is creek down the slop on the left side of the house.

if u have a creek - do get flood insurance
or u will regret it.
as for poles they would be utlities markers.
leave them alone.
