What is the difference between Meadow hay Vs Orchard grass hay?
I don't need nutritional information. I want to know whats different about them? I see them in stores and in local farmer ads but no one says whats different. They look, smell and feel the same to me.
Google is not being helpful at all and I would love to know what the difference is.
I feed both to my three male guinea pigs.

Orchard Grass should look quite a bit different to Meadow Hay. It's just different types of grass. Orchard Grass is usually quite broad and green and very sweet smelling. Meadow Hay can vary, here it tends to be much more slender blades, but not as uniform as it depends what has been growing in said meadow!
Both can be free-fed so it doesn't really matter. I find meadow hay to be a lot cheaper where I am, so my two rabbits get orchard grass as a treat and meadow hay as a staple.
