what is 1/2 of 2 1/2 cups?
recipe calls for 5 cups of oats, i am making 1/4 of the recipe, so if 2 1/2 is half of 5 cups, what is 1/2 of 2 1/w cups?

My mind breaks things down very quickly into the least common denominator. Here its a 1/4 cup measurement.
2 1/2 cups = ten 1/4 cups;
Half of ten is 5 so, the answer is 5/4 = 1 1/4 cups.
The best way ways from the original recipe to take 5 cups as twenty 1/4 cups and take a quarter of that.

you could replace a million/2 cup of brown sugar for a million/2 cup of white sugar in very nearly any recipe. In recipes with out good flavoring (jointly with chocolate or espresso), the flavor will be diverse, and in ingredients with a mild color (mint eco-friendly, off-white), the color would get replaced. The lighter the brown sugar, the a lot less the version. i take advantage of organic brown sugar each of the time instead of white.
