Is the marineland double bright LED sufficient for a planted aquarium?
I want to go LED. Done replacing bulbs. Is it worth my money to upgrade to the reef capable fixture for double the cost?? I'm worried the light spectrum will be too narrow. I have a pressurized CO2 system btw. Thanks people!!

the double bright isn't bright enough for plants. I have a double bright and used it for a little while on my low tech planted tank. the plants didn't grow very well; yellow leaves, spotted leaves, etc. The reef capable one might work better, but i'd look into t5 high output light fixtures or Power compacts with 6700 k bulbs. I've also read that marineland is going to have a planted led fixture out soon, so you might want to wait.

as long as you're actually not doing stay flora any mild could be high quality, and the double wonderful led fixture could be great because of the fact it has first rate color spectrum and greater intensity than the single wonderful mild. notice: you ought to not be doing stay flora with africans i assume. in case you do a stay planted tank, then this mild should not be extremely extreme sufficient for a deep tank like yours.
