German shepherds banned in Air Force base housing?

I currently live in base housing where German Shepherds are allowed, but have heard that they are banned from some bases. I am due for a BOP but before I put in for orders I was hoping to find out where they are banned so we don't have to give him up when we move. Anyone know a site I can go on to see which bases the breed is banned from?

You're going to have to check the base housing office for each location to see what is a go or a no go. I've never seen a comprehensive list but if you have one or two places in mind either check the housing office website for that base or call them..that way you'll know for sure. Never really heard of a ban on German Shepherds but I'm not doubting you as a Rottweiller I can see for sure but if you've narrowed down your BOP's just check the sites or call the housing office on those bases and at the very least you won't get snowballed by a possible outdated list if one even exists and get it straight from the authority where you might want to PCS to.

I have not heard of Alsatians being banned, rotties and pits YES, but this might be a new thing...........the only way you can know for sure is to check with EACH housing office on each base.

You have to go to the individual base's housing website to find out what their breed restrictions are. If you end up somewhere your dog's not allowed, you can always just live off-post.
