Depends African cichlids like a ph of 7.5 and up and need rocks to do that. South American cichlids like softer water with a ph 6.5 -7 and bog wood and plants. Both areas have colorful fish if you want it to look like a saltwater aquarium I suggest African cichlids. The rocks look like coral and Africans have bright colors. Electric blue cichlid, yellow lab, peacock cichlid and many others are very colorful! You need to post more videos on YouTube! Yours are way cooler than the others because you look at every fish and not just one! You should post a video of them feeding!

No cichlids are appropriate fish to be saved a 10 gallon. The Kenyis ought to wish to be saved in numbers to maintain the aggression down. in addition they can attain 5 or 6 inches. A 40 gallon may be the smallest i ought to keep African Cichlids in.
