Hello, I just got a Boston Terrier Puppy he is nine in a half weeks.?
He has been with us for three days and I would have to say best puppy ever! This is my first puppy that I have owned and I was wondering if anyone had any great housebreaking tips for now or the future. To be honest with me being at home I and my kids have been consistent with going outside every half hour to an hour and we have had very little accidents. I feel that doing this doesnt give him a chance to cue me, so I was wondering if this is the right way to go about it at this age or if there is any different ways. Thank you

You're on the right track! Soon, you will begin to recognize the cues that the puppy needs to go out..

What I did with my dogs is...
1. Get puppy pads.
2. Place it in the middle of the room closest to your door that leads to the garden.
3. Every day, move the pad a bit closer to the door, until it is not there anymore and the pup will go to the door to pee on it, which creates the illusion that he's running to the door to ask to get out. This takes about two weeks as the pad must be moved slowly.
No-one question me, I am a professional breeder of 18 years in the making. All my dogs got taught this way and I have had about 4 accidents per pup for their whole lifetime! This works, trust me...

DO NOT use puppy pee pads,
Teach him right, and then you will only need to train once.
