Removing film in my mini Diana?

The film got jammed at the end of my film when I was trying to wind it. So I ended up having to open the camera and manually wind in back into the film container. Is it safe to assume that the film is ruined? It's black and white standard 35mm film if that helps any. I'm hoping it's ok, thanks in advance guys :)

No need to assume. It's totally ruined. Next time a problem like that crops up with your plastic toy camera, do not open the hatch and instead, bring it to the film lab for developing. Tell them the problem and let them figure out how to get the film from your camera. They have the right tools (a light tight black bag and a bottle opener) and the right training (about two minutes in front of the supervisor) to handle the situation.
