I hit 88 miles per hour in my car but nothing happened?

No sparks, lighting, time period change, or flames. What's wrong with my car?

    u need the lightening to start the flux capacitor sequence. If lightening was present then Biff has stolen the flux capacitor. BTW I assume u were in a Delorian

    Is the flux capacitor installed correctly? Mine was wired wrong and now I am answering this question on an original mac with a dial up connection.
