Ball python won't eat f/t fuzzy?

He's just a baby and this would be his first meal in my care. I'm trying a f/t fuzzy, my first time trying f/t, but he's just not interested in it. Normally, it wouldn't be a problem, and I'd try again at a later time, but there is no later time right now. I have to leave for a month long vacation tomorrow. I don't want to leave him without a meal for an entire month (I'm fine with that for my adults and my spotted, but I'm more worried about it being a baby). I tried force feeding once, but I couldn't get him to swallow it so he spit it out. Any tips or suggestions?

Update:

I'm fine with my adults going for a month or so occasionally, but I don't feel good about it being with a baby. Also, it was heated up when I tried. I even reheated it a few times, still nothing. I didn't use a cup, I just put it in a sink with hot water. He shows no interest in it.

Usually I wouldn't recommend live foods for any snake but if it's a fuzzy without the kind of teeth adult food has and can't bite the snake then it might be OK , it's not harmful for juvenile or adult snakes to go without food for a month, but babies are a different story & force feeding should be left to the pro's otherwise it can easily & quickly kill the snake !! When I feed my snakes frozen, well thawed foods thawed @ room temps till I see the foods blood... I use tongs with a gloved hand to give the food a little wiggle which might help you ! Take Care

i agree with Kai, place it in warm water and let it heat up ( make sure not to cook it though) and then try feeding it, all the baby BP i have dealt with take it better when it is warmed, the adults as well take it better. Hope it works!

Also i wouldn't leave a baby BP a month without eating it is a really long time for all snakes never mind a baby, all the baby BP's i have had i start them off feeding once a week then sub adults i start feeding once every 2 weeks.

try feeding it a live fuzzy or a hopper mouse. b4 u feed it to you snake hit the mouse against some just hard enough to daze it so it decreases the chance of your snake being bit by the rodent. And that way it will have the senses of the body heat and plus the movement of the rodent.
