Types of American Pittbull Terriers?
Mostly known as "Pitbulls", I don't know if this is just slag or what not, but I have heard of the "Red-nosed Pit" (Which they have more of a redder nose) and the "Blue-Nosed Pitt". (I'm guessing their nose is grayish?) How do you determine which branch your Pitbull is in? What's the difference? I've also heard of something called a "Low Rider Pitbull" it's where they have shorter legs than normal Pittbulls so they are closer to the ground. I just got a Pitbull puppy and she is all black except the white on her chest, a thin white strip down her snout, and some of her toes are white. Her nose looks the name color as her black fur. (She's also mixed with Rottweiler I was told but she favors the Pitbull looks) What type of Pitt is she? Also, she is three or four weeks old and I'm bottle feeding her, because her mother stopped taking care of her. How can I tell what her size about would be? Thank you!
Also, how much would you say I should feed her at this age? And when should I start doing less and introducing solid food. At the time I'm feeding her about every four hours and I make 4 ounces of milk but she normally only drinks 2 then starts to chew on the nipple. Also, she goes to the bathroom A LOT. This is normal, correct? If you have any sites for extra information I would greatly appreciate it!
By one of the answers, she and her mother isn't NOT an American Bully. And I ONLY have her this young is because her mother rejected her and stopped caring for her all together and the owner didn't want to puppies in the first place so my friend took them in and bottle fed them and I picked out this one and is taking care of her.

First and most importantly, it's very dangerous for you to have her right now. She far too young to be separated from her mother, she could develop some serious health concerns because of this.
Make sure you take her to a vet, and get their recommendation on how to properly care for her at this age. Be warned that because she is so young, she might not make it if not properly cared for. She's going to require your constant attention right now.
Secondly, because she was separated so early, she might have problems bonding with anyone.
There is really only one breed type of American Pitbull Terrier, however, there are several Line Types of APBTs. This is how you wind up with different looks. One of the most famous line types is the "Colby" which is probably what you have, and defined by black brindle with white blazes or completely white heads. They also have a fawn and fawn/white type of dog they produce.
Eventually people started calling them by the color of nose they wound up getting from a specific line type, or by their size. The fact of the matter is that there is only one breed type.
Of course, it's entirely possible that since I can't see the dog, that in fact it isn't an APBT at all, instead it's what's often mistaken as one: the American Bully.
So, in short, you have a Breed Type: APBT mix Line Type: Colby.

There is only one American Pit Bull Terrier. You, ma'am, are talking about the American Bully. They come from pit bulls but there is a big difference. They are the breed with the "low riders" and "XXXL" and advertise the size of their head.
A true APBT:

An American Bully:

Not ALL American Bullies are enormous like that:

The APBT is a strong, agile working breed. The American Bully is just an oversized hippo of a dog that due to it's size, isn't capable of much except looking mean and going for waddles. I say waddles because the majority of them can't even walk right. They
are often inbred and can be very unhealthy because of that.
As for the bottle feeding here is a great website that helped me:

Good luck! (:

Am-team, APBT and Staffordshire Bull Terrier all originated from an identical variety of canines yet are actually seen as exceptionally separate breeds, many of the time. each so often an American Staffordshire Terrier could be dually registered as an APBT. AKC would not enable an APBT to be registered as an Am-team, yet a registered Am-team could be registered with UKC or ADBA as APBT being registered as the two. puzzled yet? They honestly have hassle-free kinfolk in beginning yet have provided that been bred to standards and conformation that has produced 3 different breeds. provided that there are APBT's that are greater beneficial, blockier and greater like an Am-team and others that are leaner, sleeker and smaller, honestly APBT's contain plenty greater kind. So, imo, they are different breeds, yet each so often somebody dogs is one and an identical (am-team and pit bull) yet only whilst first registered as Am-team.

There is only ONE type of PIT BULL, and it is the American Pit Bull Terrier. The APBT is agile, loyal, brave,& strong working breed.Though the breed is genetically dog aggressive.
She is not "type" of pit bull, she is MIX.

There is only one type of APBT. Anyone saying otherwise is a Backyard Breeder or Puppy Mill. Your dog is from one of those, no reputable breeder will give you a dog at 3 weeks.
