What is your opinion of Blue nail polish?
Okay....My nails are a medium length (natural)and I keep them in nice condition. (If one breaks off low I will trim the rest so that they are pretty even) Well, today I polished my nails with Wet & Wild Bijou Blue, which is a pale metallic blue. Two people (male and female) told me that blue nail polish is tacky, ugly and lame and that girls should stick to either reds, pinks or French Manicures.
What do YOU think about blue, green, or purple polish? And what is your sex and age range (over/under 25?) THANKS:)
Oh, if it matters, I wasn't at work or in a professional/formal setting. I was at the park:/

First, I am over 25 and female
I think on younger (under 30) women/girls, pretty much anything goes in a casual setting like you were in. (although I personally don't like to see black nail polish on ANYONE)
I think that in a work environment or a more formal/dressy place then the funky colors should be used with discretion. I would not show up at my grandma's funeral with green nails. That's just my old school opinion..lol
What the people said to you was kinda rude and remember that it was just their opinion, don't let them dictate your style OR ruin your day! Have fun and express yourself!!
BTW, I tend to be more of a traditionalist when it comes to MY nails, and pretty boring since I basically stick to the same 3 colors. I wish I could pull off wearing trendy colors:/
HOWEVER....... I just bought a bottle of blue nail polish yesterday because I am getting married next month and I am polishing my toenails BLUE :D (something old, something new. something borrowed, something BLUE)

Baby blue nail polish is super cute on toes, especailly if you are tan. But it may be a little "too much" for finger nails.

Ok first thing I'm a guy but I'm quite happy for a girl to wear different colours as I see it as being quite trendy.
Don't worry about what others think. If you wanna wear purples , greens , blues or any other colour you just go for it.

I looked the colour up and it looks very pretty. In the bottle it looks kind of tacky, but once you put it on it looks fine (my friend has it) If you like it, then wear it!!

Well blue means your calm and relaxed obviously there was a reason why you picked blue. normally when i want to paint my nails it all depends on what mood i am in...

im under 25 and people seem to be wearing all sorts of colors nail painting in a trend in my grade and everyone always has a differernt funky color on! i say if u like it WEAR IT!!!
