I want to start a band, but I'm going off to college soon?

So I already have enough songs written to release an EP and I've been wanting to start a band for a while. The problem is I'm starting my senior year in high school and there's a good chance that I'll leave the city I live in, which would only give the band a year to get recognition. I've put a lot into these songs and I want to see how far I can take them. Should I just wait until college or should I start the band, but reform with a new lineup in a year? Or any other options I didn't consider?

I agree. Do it now bc even if you don't mean to, you could keep putting it off and then look back when ur like 40 and be like "FML"...I've heard starting a band is something that is usually very easy to procrastinate on lol. Good Luck whatever your choice is! Give me your band name of you decide and I'll be looking for you guys!

u shud start the band because u can do a lot in one year and the recognition u get might carry on (who knows, u might end up being popular in college)

if u wait until college, there's a chance u might lay it off and never do it
