Why is Tony La Russa such a prick?
He must think fans are idiots if he believed no one would see through his scheme. He knew Chipper Jones would win the final vote by a landslide, as the results were showing a few days ago, so when he had to pick a replacement for CF Matt Kemp, instead of choosing Michael Bourn to replace him as the next desercing CF on the Final Vote ballot, he chose Chipper Jones knowing that David Freese would win the Final Vote if Chipper weren't on the list. He also knew that fans wouldn't have enough time to vote Bourn back into the race because most of Braves' fans had already spent time voting for Chipper. I mean seriously, is this how a future HOF manager wants to go out?

Chipper is playing out his last season and deserves one last All Star game. The game is in Missouri, no issue with a St. Louis fan favorite in Freese getting a spot on the NL team. At the end of the day though it doesn't matter. The All Star game is garbage and meaningless and IDK why they still have WS home field advantage at stake when they should either alternate it or give it to which ever team has the better record.

Or maybe he thought that Chip should be in the All Star Game for his last season, didn't want to risk the fan vote, and therefore decided to put him in, which indirectly led to Freese getting in. Being a biased Braves fan, you thought it through too much. BTW, Freese deserved it more than Bourne.

He later stated that it grew to become right into a shaggy dog tale, yet nevertheless, you fairly can no longer placed it previous Tony. I advise, he's a similar guy who got here up with over one hundred thirty diverse line-united statesfor a 162 pastime season. lol. As a fan, although, i might hate it if it befell. it fairly is undesirable sufficient that he has come back to be our hitting coach. i'm disgusted my McGwire. Coming from STL, i'm and function consistently been a brilliant Cardinals fan and as a baseball fan, i'm disgusted via any participant who makes use of steroids. To me, it skill that they merely thoroughly disrespected the pastime and all the gamers who made it what it fairly is in the present day. So, I lost numerous appreciate for him as a baseball participant. It merely confirmed me that he did no longer care proper to the pastime, the team, or the city he grew to become into representing. Then, I lost numerous appreciate for him usually because of the fact he arogantly denied it. Now that it truly is been quite a few months because of the fact his fact as our new hitting coach, he remains cowardly hiding fairly of confronting it, which he will would desire to do. i think of issues may well be plenty greater useful if he merely admitted to it so human beings would desire to circulate on. for occasion, ARod is way less fussed approximately now after admitting it and permitting human beings to circulate on. It grew to become into loopy for some weeks, yet its no longer anymore.

WOAH! Dude...seriously? LaRussa is a great man and a genius. He does A LOT of things that people don't understand (trust me I've been watching him for years). I love LaRussa and he'll do a great job managing the ASG.
