Will the internet come back, after the July 9th blackout?

I am not sure if we'll lose the internet, after the blackout Monday, altogether.

If they shut it down, will it come back on? If so, how long before the new servers are up?

The internet is NOT going to go down at all. There are just some users whose computers have been infected by a specific type of malware that will be unable to access the internet. Everybody else will be able to access the internet fine.

To check if you have the malware that would prevent you from accessing the internet, just run any anti-virus program full computer scan. I would recommend MalwareBytes (free).

There is not going to be any "blackout". There were several million computers affected with this botnet virus and the number is down to 300,000 which is a very small percentage of the installed base.
