What are some good repitive songs for exercise?

We are a bunch of middle aged women, and during our exercises, we sing silly songs like The Ants Go Marching On, The Hokey Pokey, The Wheels On The Bus, and so forth during water aerobics. What are some other songs that we could do to break up the routine? They kind of have to be simple, as we have women from age 30 to 85 in our class, and we have to exercise while singing, but do want some distraction. Thank you so much for your help! : )

What a great idea! I love it! Is there a place you could plug in a CD player? I would consider getting some CD's to play and sing along to. There are tons of wonderful children's artists that you could use. The Learning Station is one of my favorites. Lots of rhythmic, repetitive music you could use. They have a web site you can listen to and down load from. Please, please listen to Baby Shark! There's a video of it on YouTube, too, and it's hilarious. I'm sure you ladies would LOVE LOVE LOVE it! You could also look for music by Jack Hartman (Proud to be an American would be awesome), and maybe Laurie Berkner (try Goldfish). This sounds like too much fun! I would so love to join you!

Marches are good, like "76 Trombones" from "The Music Man"

Seventy-six trombones led the big parade

With a hundred and ten cornets close at hand.

They were followed by rows and rows of the finest virtuo-

Sos, the cream of ev'ry famous band.

Seventy-six trombones caught the morning sun

With a hundred and ten cornets right behind

There were more than a thousand reeds

    Springing up like weeds

There were horns of ev'ry shape and kind.

There were copper bottom tympani in horse platoons

Thundering, thundering all along the way.

Double bell euphoniums and big bassoons,

Each bassoon having it's big, fat say!

There were fifty mounted cannon in the battery

    Thundering, thundering louder than before

    Clarinets of ev'ry size

    And trumpeters who'd improvise

A full octave higher than the score!
