Movie "Scarface" question?

In the movie Scarface, there's a scene where Tony is angry at his boss, and orders his friend to kill him. Why was he angry at the boss? Sorry, I'm watching this online and I need to jog my memory.

    His boss just tried to have Tony killed a few hours earlier.
