3 budgies need to be trained?

I have 3 budgies, I'm going to get their wings clipped soon, they are a little over 4 months and I got them from an owner who did not seem to knowledgeable about them, but they are only used to a seed diet I mixed in some pellets though, and they are only using the highest perch because they only had 2 perches to begin with in their original cage and they were up really high... they don't eat much veggies and they don't go near my hand, and they (I hope) play fight all the time, but don't use any toys.. and they are only used to their food dish being high up..when they're wings get clipped, how do you suggest I should train them? like, get them to trust me? can you give me a step by step instruction please..?

Most likely need a trained bird trainer. You can go to Petsmart or Petco and ask about pet training, they train dogs, cats and birds! They trained my bird (macaw) how to speak! They train budgies well too!

Once their wings are clipped, take one at a time out of the cage into a separate room, out of sight of the cage. Start training each bird individually. The training process is too detailed to type it all in here, I suggest you get a book or dvd on how to train a bird, such as the "Clicker Training Method"

Good luck, it takes a lot of time and patience to train correctly.
