My amp isn't getting enough power?
600 watt XPA4640 dual amp and a 1200 Watt 12" Sony Xplod. I have it on channel 4, AC cords on 3 and 4 and speaker wires on 3 and 4. Is this right, what setting am I suppose to put it on? Also could my power wire be too small? -4 gauge I think....
Cuts out at high volumes , or if the woofer hits a tone or bass to high (using too much power)
You know I just can't figure this stupid thing out! I checked the power cable, the ground, and I can't find anything wrong, I messed with both the power and ground too. It's not like I just looked at them and said "Oh, they are fine". I changed the RCA cables and that did nothing, it just cuts out at high volumes! I feel like I've done all I can do but I don't wanna spend like 50 bucks to have someone fix it for me... any other reasons it would be doing this?
Mee- Yeah I didn't want to say that because I really don't wanna replace the battery lol

You may have it wired incorrectly, but that's not likely with single voice coil sub. Another common cause of what you describe is a poor ground. Clean the paint off and make sure it's a tight and connected directly to the chassis.
Four gauge is a sufficient wire size for that amplifier. You should check the connections on you power wire as well. Make sure they are clean and tight. Make sure the power wire fuse is clean and secure.

Have you tried checking your car battery? I had the exact same problem with my JL Audio G1700 amp and i discovered that it was my battery causing the problem since it was bad it wasnt giving the amp the correct voltage it needs to run safely so it kept going into protect mode try checking your voltage when you have your system on if the voltage drops too low then its time to upgrade battery
