I think I have a picture tube problem. (A68QBT892X)?
Can anyone tell me what the heater voltage and resistance should be? At the tube neck I seem to be getting an open. I would like to be sure cause it worked till I unplugged and recapped the board. I would not have touched it but the main filter cap in the SMPS was going bad and making the audio noisy. THANKS!

usually heater of crt is supplied by flyback pulses on fbt.so if there is no hor. output the heater is OFF .
check heater prongs with an ohmmeter(remove its board )........usually two adjacent prongs.....insert a 6 volts bulb on its socket for cheching.......usually there is a low ohm resistor series with it to the fbt .
