Is it really an "Arab Spring"?

Judging by the final results that those uprisings and revolutions are getting at (like the seizing of power in Egypt), it's getting clearer exactly where the Arab world is heading: surely, anywhere but forward -- or upward. Tunisia; Egypt; Yemen, and soon Syria joins the club, where Islamic Brotherhood and Salafi and Wahhabi Islamists have and are clubbing for power. In Kuwait, where Shiites are on the rise, Sunni extremism is beginning to drive non-Muslims away for a start. In Lebanon, Sunni Muslims who feel a serious Shiite threat -- due to the enormous armor that Shiite Hizbullah keeps, along with the support it enjoys from Iran and the dwindling Syrian regime -- are now on a kind of rise to somehow equalize forces, demanding a handover of Hizbullah armor to the state. It is feared that if this doesn't happen, and Sunni extremists take over power in Syria, those latter would extend their backup to Sunnis in Lebanon, and then we'll have a bloody Sunni/Shiite scenario ready to rumble. How 'bout that for an Arab spring in THE Arab country best renowned for Christian-Muslim coexistence, let alone Muslim-Muslim? What kind of spring can anyone see in that chaotic rise of Islamic extremism?

Yes and it's called the new world order. Do you think that riots in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and Syria are all something that randomly happend? NO it's 100% planned and backed by CIA and israel Google; Condoleezza Rice and ''The New Middle East'' Did you know that most Libyans who lives inside Libya were supporting Gaddafi? most of the rioters were from al-qaida, and other western backed forces. And same goes for Syria I've spoken to some Syrians, most of them loves the president, even christian-syrians do.

I'm pretty sure there will be no sunni-shia war because if the government in Syria falls it will be impossible for Iran to supply hezbollah with arms, weapons, troops etc which will pretty much make Israel free to do whatever they desire to do in the middle-east. Who will stand in their way? The gulf states are U.S allies and watch dogs. Iraq is gone, so is Libya, Tunis, and Egypt. It will also make a freeway for U.S to attack Iran now that they know Iran can't attack Israel from Syria or Lebanon anymore.

    It's game-over and you have a new U.S-Israeli middle-east. I quote Condoleeza Rice: THE NEW MIDDLE-EAST.

You should also know that the countries who have been struck by what you call arab spring were all major importers of Russian arms, technology, weapons etc. They had contracts with Russia worth billions of Dollars. Guess which country got the first contract with Libya about its oil sector after Gaddafis fall? France did. I do not want to start about US contracts. Why weren't there a spring in UAE or Kuwait or Saudi Arabia or Qatar or Bahrain or other pro-US arab countries?

I believe what we have blooming in this "spring" is the flower of an Islamic Caliphate.Once the Sunni and Shiite factions have stopped fighting, the Islamic nations will merge into a super-nation,a caliphate. Then they will be in a position to give the West a real fight for global dominance.Muslims have been fighting each other for a long time.Once they realize how strong they will be united,it will be a turning point in world history.

No the earth has moved further and they are in summer now.

"Arab Spring" was planned by the CIA using Al-(CIA)da to create instability in the region so the US could intervene and prop up leaders that will favor our foreign policy so we could rob the region of it's resources.
