How do you view the mark on the hand and forehead in Revelation?

(In John’s vision persons receiving the mark (or, engraving) of the wild beast on their forehead or on their hand were in line for destruction. The Bible speaks of worshipers of God as writing upon their hands, symbolically, the words, “Belonging to Jehovah,” thus denoting they are his slaves. (Isa 44:5) In the same way the “mark” of “the wild beast” in the right hand would symbolize one’s giving attention, devotion, and active support to “the wild beast” and its “image,” inasmuch as a person’s hands are used to do work in behalf of the one he serves.—Re 13:16, 17; 14:9, 10; 20:4.

His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.” (Psalm 146:3, 4) Those who heed that wise counsel are not disillusioned when governments fail to deliver on their promises or when charismatic leaders fall from grace.—Proverbs 1:33.

This does not mean that true Christians sit back and do nothing about mankind’s plight. On the contrary, they actively proclaim the one government that will solve mankind’s problems—God’s Kingdom, which they represent.—Matthew 24:14.

All this technology comes out of the United States we are that second beast which came up out of the earth. Which throws in with the first beast which came up out of the sea. Look the support of believers for Revelations has caused allot of laughter Why? Have you read it?

yeah that is some seriously off the wall stuff. And just don't. Revelations just.. whoever wrote it was not in the right mental state.

People will know what they are getting and why. Those who have put their faith in Jesus will refuse it. These are the ones beheaded crying out to God beneath His throne for Him to take vengeance on those who killed them which He will do during the Great Tribulation described in Revelation.

The very introduction of the book of Revelation tells us that it is symbolic,

as Revelation 1:1 clearly states:

"A revelation by Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. And he sent forth his angel and *PRESENTED IT IN SIGNS* through him to his slave John."

Throughout history a person ihas become 'marked' by & according to their actions. People recognize them for what they have chosen as their course in life. If they steal, they become known as a thief; if they murder, as a murderer; if they lie, a liar; if they vote for the same political party every time; they are seen as a follower of that party. On the positive side: if they are law abiding they become known as honest folk; if they put other people's needs ahead of their personal desires, they are seen as genuine & generous; if they do everything within reason that their job demands, & even more when not asked, they are known as an exemplary employee; if they choose to live a life that qualifies them to live under the rulership of God's heavenly kingdom government (instead of any of man's governmets under Satan's rule), they are Christians . . .

In other words, we are known by the things we choose to do in our lives.

Regarding the 'marks on the hands & forehead' spoken of in Revelations . . . People are compelled to support man's governments --and other nontheocratic endeavors-- all of which are part of Satan's system of things. When a person does support any of that, they learn to think like those they support, and they do things in support of them, too. Even if they only vote for them, that is support. Like the above things I listed as examples, such ones become 'marked' as supporters --in effect-- of Satan's system of things, which is in complete opposition to God's will. They symbolically become 'marked in their foreheads and hands' . . . in other words, their thoughts & actions show exactly what they support, and, what they are against.

*ALL* persons are compelled --in one way or another-- to take sides.
