Here's what you do!! You block your ex from FB!! Okay and have self control! Yah it's inevitable to not think about ur ex at the beginning but over time it gets easier just stay distracted! Listen to music :) That should keep ur mind occupied you can also read to our with friends!! Main thing is to block ur ex!! Food luck :) hope i helped!! This too shall pass no worries

It takes approximately 7 months to get over an ex. I guess in this time you meet new people, have new experiences, grow as a person and learn to be away from them.
The 7 months thing I actually read somewhere, although I can't remember where.
Give it time and if you still feel like you have a lot affection to give, try pet sitting, directing it towards family, or releasing it in another way (eg running, swimming, exercise - something to keep your mind busy).
It will eventually pass and thing will work out for the better. They always do.
I find that the second I stop trying so hard to either get over someone, or find a new partner, is when it actually happens! Let things happen, don't try to force them :)
