The pill and the patch - can I switch between them as the pill did not work for me?

I was previously using the patch but then it began to not stick after a few days in certain places.

I then started the pill, which did not work for me at all and changed me so much that I stopped taking it.

I have taken a break from both but I was intending on starting to use the patch again in the next few days.

Will this be okay? As I didn't know if it was okay to switch between contraceptions?

Also, as the patch is also a three week cycle does this mean I won't have a period until the fourth week, like usual? As I should come on in the next two weeks without it.

Sorry if that is confusing! Thanks :)

The pill will always work and does change woman, but you just have to let it sink into your body, after the first pack for the month, you'll be fine! I don't think it would be safe to mix and match birth controls, you have to use the pill every day for it to be affective and if you miss one, it won't work? And the patch, I don't know what it does and how it works.. Maybe wait until you have your period and start the patch after that :) that way your body wont be in shock.. Maybe ring a doctor and talk it over with them.. But personally it wouldn't be safe to switch and mix pills... Your body wouldnt be able to cope with it at all!
