If my computer does not meet the required CPU for a PC game, What are the side affects?

Like, will it slow down the game? Or could it harm my computer? Thanks in advance.

    Sometimes your computer might actually crash. Its happened to me a few times.

    The game will probably be unplayable due to how slow it runs.

    There is no harm, just lag.
