trophies in gta iv on ps3?
What is the go with the trophies in gta iv, as I just downloaded a update for the game and now it is saying they are unavailable. it say's I need to start new game to regain trophies!
Do I need to have these trophies to complete 100% of the game? as I'm already completed 45% of the game as well killing about 50 pigeons, with all islands unlocked!
Any advice would be appreciated!

It is happening because you enter cheats while playing the game.Star a new game without entering any cheat codes.You will be able to enter cheats with trophies enabled once you get 1 trophy.But enter cheats after completing 4 or 5 missions.I'm able to get trophies even with cheats enabled.
