Is it possible to change processors on a laptop?

I currently own a HP 2000 (I think?) laptop running OS W7 home premium 64 bit with 4 gig of ram & 500 gigs of hard drive space on I3 core 2.20Ghz processor!

Is it possible to change the processor to an i5 or i7 with 8 gigs of ram?

I know I can up the ram from 4 to 8gbs (as it is single ddr3 ram slot & I have one to spare) which I'm planning on doing anyway in about 3 months (as that is when the warranty runs out), but just wondering if i can change the processor at all?

the computer is mostly used for internet, education,work & research (95%). I have no reason to use it for playing games, as I spend more time on the computer learning & working then I do worrying about playing games + I own a Playstation 3 (so no need to use it for games)!

The programs I usually use on a regular basis is graphic programs like Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator & photo/graphic programs etc.

It works fine at the moment, but I would like it to be a bit quicker then what it is!

how long will a foot long southern style chicken with garlic aioli subway last in the fridge, as I bought two for dinner on Friday afternoon, but i have fallen asleep Friday & Saturday before I have gotten a chance to eat them!

Just wondering if they will be okay to eat for dinner tonight if I reheat them in the oven?

WTF! is the go with google maps? I moved to a new location & updated these locations about 10-12 months ago but they are still saying my address is at a address that I haven't lived at for over 12 months now, they even sent me a letter to say my address location has been changed, but even then that was nearly 10 months ago, like WTF is going on?

Just wondering if it is possible to install a third party media player onto my 160gb ps3, as I hate watching movies with the black strip above & below the film! the media player I want to install has a zoom function that elimanates the black strips!

The software I want to install is called MEDIA PLAYER CLASSIC, I was just wondering if this could be installed without screwing up my ps3?

What is the go with the trophies in gta iv, as I just downloaded a update for the game and now it is saying they are unavailable. it say's I need to start new game to regain trophies!

Do I need to have these trophies to complete 100% of the game? as I'm already completed 45% of the game as well killing about 50 pigeons, with all islands unlocked!

How long would cooked BBQ chicken last for in the fridge, I bought a couple of hot chicken rolls from Red Rooster last night, but I fell asleep before I got a chance to eat them.

I was planing to add extra topping to them, broccoli, carrot, cauliflower,cheese and a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce with a hint of black cracked pepper etc.

Although it does sound yummy! I was just wondering if it would be okay to use for tomorrow nights dinner, as I already have plans for tonight's dinner!

I live in a dormitory/college style accommodation, with about 200 other people. which has private rooms and comes with free internet in all the rooms, my question is can the people who manage the accommodation see what websites I have been visiting.

As i study and research a lot of websites for the line of work and study i'm involved with, so is it possible for them see what sites I have visited and pinpoint what room/office it is coming from?

bought 3 sausage and egg mcmuffins yesterday (4th/1st/2012) from McDonald's, I only ate 1 of them and the other 2 are now in the fridge will they still be okay to eat tomorrow (6th/1st/2011) for breakfast?

I'm starting to run out of clean clothes, would it be safe or hygenic to hand wash some of my clothes with washing powder in a bathtub that is probaly share with 6-8 other people?

I'm thinking it is not a good idea for hygiene reasons but I'm not 100% sure!

Hi I left some food at a friends place, while had to immediately seek emergency accommodation.

now I'm in emergency accommodation and the only cooking facilities I have access to is a small microwave and a toaster.

I thought me mate would of had the decency to see what was frozen at the time and what was not, and placed them in the fridge or freezer, instead of just chucking everything in the freezer.

Q1:The food i have is Steggles frozen crumbed chicken fingers which is supposed to be cooked in a oven or under the grill, (just wondering if they can be cooked in microwave, and for how long, and if so would they be better defrosted thirst or nuke them frozen)?

Q2: The second is a large tube of potato salad which was fresh until my mate put them in the freezer, (just wondering if it would be still okay to eat, once defrosted)?

Q3: I also have some frozen fish fillets, but once again they have to be cooked in oven, grill or frying pan, (will they be okay to cooked in microwave)?

So would this stuff be okay to cook in microwave and eat?

I have got to set up a weekly calender schedule for a made up company for an assignment I'm working on, including appointments and meetings, I've done that bit already!

But I don't know how to save it so I can open it on a different computer, as I have never use outlook before so I'm still learning the basics!

Does anyone know how to Save the file, so I can open it tomorrow on another computer to print it!

I'm currently living in emergency accommodation for a few weeks, and the only kitchen facilities the place has got is a share microwave, share fridge and kettle.

So I was wondering what is something easy I can cook/nuke that would be filling and tastes good, I usually eat regularly large suppers and a medium size lunch, but I always try to eat healthy for example fresh meat and vegies etc.

I don't like 5 minute microwave meals you get from a supermarket as I would probably have to 2-3 of these just to fill me up, plus I'm not real fond on take away or fast food, although I have been living on fast food for a week and a half now as there is 5 major fast food chain stores within a 5 minute walk e.g. McDonald's, KFC etc, plus I cannot afford to live on junk food for however much longer I live this accommodation.

so is there anything cheap and nice and healthy and will fill the hole in the stomach I can make or cook in microwave with easy and simple ingredients I can get from local supermarket?

How do I save microsoft 2010 word documents to microsoft word xp version without losing any format options, as I need to work on documents at home where I have xp microsoft, but my course has 2010 version.

there is a way I can do it using aa third party program but this time consuming and a pain in the butt, as I have to work on 15-20 documents each night.

I'm not sure if I will be in trouble with the ATO, as I have not done my tax in 5-6 years, the reason is I have been unemployed and only on centerlink, and I was paying zero tax, until febuarary this year when I have started working casuaul 15/20 hrs/week, I want to do my tax but I'm not 100% sure where all my approppiate paperwork is, as I have moved house at least 5-6 times in this 5-6 year period & the majority of my paperwork is still packed in about 12 boxes in storage!

Advice on my flatmate: Please help me as I'm at my wits ends?

SCENARIO: I moved in 3 months ago, 9th of august 2011, she moved in on the 15th of july 2011, I'm a 37yo male, I work a casual job 15-20/ week plus I'm part time self employed as well as doing a 6 week, 20hr/ week course to gain better skills and education, so I guess you could say my life is busy and hectic, she is 32yo:

The lease is not my name, so I have nothing to worry about there!

But anyhow she is not telling me the complete truth, as I just recently found out she is in the arrears with the rent by $2140.00 (about 2-3 weeks ago) ("almost had a heart attack when I found this out"), the total rent for the premises is $350/week, my share is $120/week as that is all she asked for when I moved in, and I'm 1 week in front with the rent as I always pay rent up front and I have given her an extra week in rent, the last few weeks, I have been going into the real estate and paying them instead of giving the money to her, ("as she seems to be spending it on other thing's)!

But the biggest problem is that what she is saying to me and what the real estate agent is telling me is two different stories:

Real estate: have issued a eviction notice as of 9th of november 2011 ("she has not told me yet") as she has beeen telling me for the last week that if she pay's the rent+ an extra $50/week they are goining to let her stay, She told me a week ago she was going in to pay some money off it, and it was nothing to worry about, she reckons she had it under control, ( something about a friend lending her the money, but the amount changed within 24hrs, as it wen't from $1800 to $400 ("yeah right")! and the line of work she is in is earning her money ("I cannot really state what type of work she is involved with")! ("but she made about $400 within one day, but she is not doing the right thing with her money!'

Her: she has been promising the real estate that she is going to pay so much each week to cover the arrears ("But she has been telling them this for a couple of months now apparently, but has not has made so much of attempt to do so, all she has paid is a measly $150!")!

She does not seem like she is all there/ she seem's like she was dropped on her head at birth, Like 32yo female should know the ethnics, maturity and resposnibilityy,

She seems like she is not all there and thinks money is going to fall from the sky and all that type of bullshit, if that happened I would not be living the lifestyle I Live!:

But anyway please help me as I'am just about ready to throw her through a wall or snap her neck or something as she is lyining,deceiving *****,(usually I'm not like this, but when people piss me off, than that is a different story")!

What would use more power in 24hr period:

1) A crt 51 cm television on for about 7-8hrs a night?

2) A oscillating 30cm freestanding fan running on low speed for 24hrs a day?

3) Someone leaving there desktop computer running all night?

I'm just wondering if someone can tell in ranking mode or so-fourth which one would use the most powe?
