printer problem not printing?

I have the Canon pixma series printer. It's connected to wifi home network. I tried to print something and the printer is not responding and it doesn't want to print. Any ideas?

    reset the printer first..

    and then try to reconnect ur workstation to a network printer..

    or maybe ,go to CMD command..

    open cmd and then type this..

    ping (IP ADDRESS OF THE PRINTER) -t

    if request time out appear,its means the pc or the printer is not connected to a network
