Ideas for a second date?

I met a guy on a night out a few weeks ago, and we've been texting each other. He asked me out on a date last week, and we went for dinner last night. It went really well, and he texted me about an hour ago asking me if I want to go out again, but this time he'd let me make the decision. Thing is, I'm really bad at making decisions, and last night was the first date I'd ever been on, so any suggestions for me?

Ideas that give us the chance to get to know each other even better would be great! And thanks :)

Something YOU like to do! Don't worry about impressing him much; he'll like that! He'll know you're not faking it and just trying to appeal to him... that's always fishy. What do you think would be fun?! Personally, that early on, I still like to get to know the person and get a feel for them by talking over drinks/dinner, but then again you might bond faster if you do an activity.

If you do dinner, suggest the type of cuisine you like or the resto.

Even a walk in a scenic/downtown neighbourhood and some ice cream would be a fun way to get to know each other and spend some time outdoors.

Hmm if you are outdoorsy or athletic i would recommend taking a hike or even just a walk somewhere. You could pack a picnic lunch if you wanted. I did this with a guy once and it gave us so much time to just talk about anything. There's also something like bowling or mini golf if you want to keep it more casual.

That's kinda weird that he wants you to decide though...he should pick if he's the one asking you out!
