Republicans are evil, that’s all there is to it. One goal - from day one - defeat Obama.

"The measure would have provided a 10 percent tax credit, up to $500,000 on payrolls of $5 million, for businesses that make new hires or otherwise expand their payrolls.

The legislation also included a popular provision to allow companies to deduct 100 percent of certain investments in new equipment, rather than the standard 50 percent, for 2012.”

I own a small business. This is a good thing, and the adolescents in the GOP just can’t wrap their brains around actually DOING SOMETHING FOR THE PEOPLE! God!!!

Obama has given out 18 small business tax breaks and this would’ve been another. And a good one. But the children in the GOP just had to filibuster. Imagine, Republicans filibustering a tax break for the REAL job creators.

Did you know that the vast majority of real “job creators” are small businesses with a proprietor earning less than $170,000.00?

See, Repubs only favor the REALLY rich business guys. We small business guys - not so much.

    Obama, 2012

Republicans believe in small business more than Democrats. Unlike Democrats, Republicans know that taxing people with incomes of over $250K at the highest tax rates includes most of the small business owners. Republicans are against obamacare because it will destroy many small businesses. Under the new obamacare rules and regulations it makes it hard for small business to survive. Only large businesses will not be hurt as much. Is it a coincidence that most republican government officials are former business owners while most democrats are things like lawyers? Republicans know business better than democrats. Now if you listen to obama when he praises people like Warren Buffet, just keep in mind that Buffet is a outspoken communist who wants to change this country to a socialist/communist nation. Look how well socialism has worked around the world. Socialism does not make the poor and middle class wealthier, it makes the wealthy and middle class poorer.

    Source(s): Common sense.

I'm a Republican trying to START a small business right now, and you fvcking DEMOCRATS are the ones who have me so choked up with regulation this, demand that, tax this and Obamacare that... I don't see how to get through all the red tape just to get to the point where I can go into business. Not to mention the fact that by the time I get done paying all the payroll taxes I have to pay to have my three employees, I'll then have to turn around and buy them health insurance now.

AND YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO ASK ME IF REPUBLICANS ARE THE ONES WHO ARE AGAINST SMALL BUSINESS. Go crawl under a rock, buddy.

The current group is not against it although they are not promoting it either. The republicans have a hand in smoothing over the various frauds, thefts, and losses to the American people in the effort to drive down costs and scoop up properties at a lower cost.

    That is how they roll.

they are typical the main supporter of small business. If you look at why, and understand our complicated tax system, Republicans are trying to keep small businesses alive The tax is not a small business tax break. It is only given to those who are expanding. ON the other hand, the expiration of Bush tax cut would hurt some small businesses. http://news.yahoo.com/small-business-hard-define-b...

PS, my understanding of taxes and small business comes from experience, not from articles like the one above. I actually talk to small businesses and seen some of their finances. I am not saying how many of the small businesses would be effective since I don't see the whole picture. The small businesses I run into tend to be the ones that would be hurt by ending Bush tax cuts.

No, we are not. In fact, many Republicans run small businesses, or did before Obummer started messing everything up.
