Why does popeye's lemonade have to be drank within 18 hours of purchase? It's a gallon size jug. :3?

IT says on the label to refrigerate after opening, and to drink within 18 hours of purchase.

    Perhaps because it is real lemonade (as opposed to artificially flavored and artificially colored powder, i.e., Country Time). My first thought, though, is clever marketing-- The quicker one drinks it, the quicker one will go back to the business to buy more.

    maybe cause it doesn't have any preservatives in it
