    1 + 2sin(x)/cos(x) +tan^2(x) , 1+ tan^2(x) = sec^2 (x)

    =2sin(x)/cos(x) +sec^2(x)

    =sin(x) + tan(x) +sec^2(x)

    It's (1 + tan x)(1 + tan x)

    = 1 + 2 tan x + tan² x

    = (1 + tan² x) + 2 tan x

    = sec² x + 2 tan x

    (1+tanx)^2=(1+tanx)(1+tanx)

    which = 1+tanx+tanx+tan^2x

    which = 1+2Tanx+tan^2x
