You can use MiracleGro patch repair for lawns. You just sprinkle it on the bare patches and it soon grows. You can get it from garden centres including B&Q and Homebase for about £10 a tub.

It depends on the type of grass you have. I live in South Florida and we have St. Augustine which is coarse, thick and very drought tolerant. But it hates traffic and wears down fast.

I find the best course of action for scarred lawns is too patch it with sod and give it a good watering every other day or until you see things catch.

Most grass will react to a good fertilizer that has a high nitrogen content.

    Cheers

You didn't save the turf covering.....the sod? Can you cut some from another area and patch over the drains? Otherwise purchase sod and piece it down or seed over the area.
