Hinduism...What exactly is Kundalini ?

Kundalini is source of life and everything around.

Universe function due to Kundalini.

She is prana. She is Aham. She is Shakti.

Everything that take you through all phase in life.

She will take you through pleasure and pain. Joy and sorrow. High and low. In many lives.

Make you realize that all temporary except Shiva.

And after many life whther you believe in Kundalini or not, whether you like to unite or not, she will unite with Shiva.

Her union with shiva mark the end of the karana sharira. No more karana for the karana sharira.

I took the time to read up on it and here is my opinion. ...

It seems to be a department of spiritual energy and it has to do with Desire. Since I believe everyone has a spirit, or soul, so kundalini, to me is just one part of the soul personality.

Kundalini (kuṇḍalinī, Sanskrit: कुण्डलिनी, Thai: กุณฺฑลินี) literally means coiled. In yoga, a "corporeal energy" or "coiled power" - an unconscious, instinctive or libidinal force or Shakti, lies coiled at the base of the spine.[1][2][3][4][5] It is envisioned either as a goddess or else as a sleeping serpent, hence a number of English renderings of the term such as 'serpent power'. The Neurons create a field around named Aura. This energy capsule is at the base of the spine, which is the Support for the neurons that energize the brain. The path being two, through which Prana energy flows regularly. Regulated via the breath by our nose. Once both are balanced, flow starts through the center named 'Shusumna'. This brings the energy capsule called 'Kundalini' to the brain center named 'Sahasra'. The person goes into Samadhi after Dhayaan. This new position of Kundalini can do Miracles.

Suffice to know what is within is without and what is without is within. Expanding universe is in fact similar to growing in the Element Earth(Bhoomi) form. But, at the same time in the microcosm as well as in the macrocosm there is creativity and a cause to creativity. Those may be designated for namesake as Moola Prakrithi (Aadi Parashakthi) and Moola Purushua (In the cosmic levels they are only Cosmic powers of creativity and is formless capable of wielding any form. Kundalini is dormant, and an atmosphere conducive to creativity is a situation in which it awakens. It is the female principle(Prakriti Tatwa) Its awakening and conjoining with the male principle (Purusha Tatwa) can cause a body dissolving into nothingness possessing the body, and the cosmic connectivity established while alive allowing a state of omnicience, omnipotence, omniverous, omnipresent and the like to the human self growing to the state of cosmic self (the virata in human beings). This gives a chance for the living beings to escape from the chain of births and deaths and become a cause to births and deaths or assuming the stature of the creator.

Kundali yoga with the help of a guru is the path for achieving. Adepts tell the imagery of the serpent in coil with a triangular mouth dormant with head facing the Sushumna Naadi. At the spiritual level the passage from Mooladhara to Sahashrara Chakra through the Sushumna is the trajectory for that action of conjoining with Shakthi to take place on its awakening, raising the human experience to Cosmic experience. Once the Samadhi state is achieved, the Sahashrara chakra becomes the Mooladhara for the further cosmic passage for the conjoined spiritually dimensional cosmic soul departing from the human system. While Kundalini joins penetrates the Brahmarandhra, everything that happens on earth happens inside, in an altered dimension, whether it be snowing, whether it be raining, whether it be wildfire. .;............indescribable and therefore a folly to describe.....

What is Kundalini ? difficult question.. I think it may take many births to know what it is.

KUNDALINI, the mysterious power has been a subject of research for many centuries.

There are various definitions of Kundalini. It is also said that It was Guru Matsyendra Nath (of Nath-Sect) who first got the tantra of Kundalini from Shiva and introduced human beings

to kundalini.

Now let us see what different explanations we can have abt kundalini :Dr. Rele has in his book"The mysterious Kundalini" written --…Kundalni is in fact Right Vagus Nerve because the description of Vagus and its connections with the important plexeses of the sympathetic runs parrallel with the

description of Kundalini and her connection with Chakras"

Mr. Avalon.Arthur in his book "The serpent power" has written Kundalini is the Static Shakti. It is the

individual bodily representation of the great cosmic power(shakti) which creates and sustains the

universe"

Sir John W. stated "Shortly stated Energy polarises itself into two forms namely static or Potential and dynamic and it is called Kundalini"

Swami Vivekananada writes " The centre where all resident sensations are, as it was stored up is called Muladhara chakra and the coiled up energy of action is kundalini, meaning the coiled up"

Sant Gyaneshwar explained " Kundalini is like a serpent of Red-orange color and it is having 3 and half coils and sleeps in Muladhara by keeping its tail into mouth"

Hathhyoga Pradeepika explains "…Kandodharva kundalinishakti supta miokkshaya yoginaam…bandhaya cha mudhanaam….etc" means those who awaken kundalini and take it up, get Moksha and those who do not , are dragged into circles of life and death again and again"

Roscicruicion society also believes that Kundalini is a secret power in us and is situated near heart.

Siva Samhita explains " treya loke yaani bhootani taani sarvana dehata…etc means the body of man is a small reflection of the univeerse and all the powers which are operative in the universe are working the human body too.

Jyotish Sastra also accept that all the sun-sign in the universe are situated in human body too (thus equating our body with universe).

some also think that Kundalini is not a real sleeping power but when by Pranayama we mate the Apana prana with Samana prana a great light and force is achieved, which is called kundalini.

Based on different explanations we can come to a general acceptable idea about kundalini. So far we find that Kundalini is a sleeping power in us, which when awakens removes the ignorance and gives us siddhis and finally Moksha. This Kundalini if not awakened takes us from one life to the other. Kundalini is the main cause of our Ignorance (Avidya) and it can be made cause of our Gyan and Moksha.

Just relax, you almost know what it is all about.Kundali is for heart in Telugu.It is psychic force believed to be dormant within humans capable of uniting with cosmic force. Don't imagine about gaining an exemplary powers. They are hyperbolic, just relax about what you know and like.

i welcome ur question!!!!! but before asking tis question hv u ever tried kundalini yoga???????? first?? coming to ur question....u r in outer surface of ur question.. when u hv once practised kundalini yoga u wud not ask lik tis in a research manner...becoz itz wat u sud do n then ask wat it is... well to say in short manner...the fist matter u said in 1st line is true.when a guru touch the meeting centre point btwn two eye browz of ur face...tat enormous spiritual energy wich lyes dormant in the spine is activated n brought to forehead in the centre mean point btween the browz...itz wat u sud practise n learn .... n feel, for an example can u cee hormones in ur body? the same way.. the last line is ur answer too it is energy,consciouness.bliss..path to meaning n wel defined life along wit divine destination... ask a guru n practise then u wont reserch lik tis in mind instead u will cee n feel wat is in real
