In mississippi is the victim arrested during a domestic violence call along with the offender?

I am told that in MS if a woman calls the police on a domestic violence issue, she will be arrested as well.

The victim is NOT arrested as a matter of course. There are some cases where the responding officers can tell violence occurred, but can't determine who is the attacker and who is the victim. In such cases, BOTH parties would be arrested and the courts would get to determine who is who.

Note: Sometimes the woman IS the offender, and sometimes the offender calls the police.

Sadly, in many cases in the south. That is far to common.

Ms/AL/TN/AR and so on have that problem. A victim can easily be arrested for domestic violence, disrupting the peace, assault if she were to hit her abuser and so on.

As for would those charges hold up in court? Depends on her history, if she's had drug arrests or let's say she's a minatory or has gang ties she those charges would likely hold and end with her on probation.

If she has good past she could likely be let out that night and the charges dropped.

Don't try it the cops will find you instegate , beat the sht out of you charge you with 15 different things (Add 10 if your a minority) Take you to court were they will explain how it was extremely necessary to beat you to a state of near death/coma. They will then state how you were tripple wielding a Rpg,M60, and a nuclear warhead shooting simultaneously they will then proceed to call out their paid witnesses that will agree that you had very big guns & were instopable and one of the paid witnesses will cry & state you really hurt her feelings & that she now has permanent feeling damage. The cop will then end his defense by showing off his shiny badges to the jury & remind them constantly how big & shinny his badge is & how he claims he is upholding the law & that his word should be trusted more
