I think there is some problem with your CMOS chip, or maybe some problem with the bios, try changing the CMOS.

replace the cmos battery
the cmos battery keeps all bios settings, including time when your computer is not plugged in, you will notice issues with some of your programs soon that are reliant on the time being right unless you sort it.
the batteries are cheap enough and with a little question here and there with your brand of laptop and model number I am sure someone can tell you how to change it.
all laptops and desktop computers have a cmos battery, if you don't use your computer for long spaces of time this battery can go dead

Don't know about laptops, but my desk model had a separate small battery for the clock. When this was changed, my clock worked perfect. Could your laptop have another battery that needs to be replaced? Check your computer manuals for trouble solving problems. Also try calling a technician at the place where you purchased your computer. They may be able to help you.
