Girls tend to talk earlier and have larger vocabularies, yes. Parents tend to talk more to their daughters though. One would think the behavior of the parents has an effect.

Pain tolerance differences... no. There aren't very accurate ways of measuring this.

Both have shown to be equally intelligent. How-ever many people "think" men are more intelligent, when in reality studies show men simply are more verbal about their intelligence. Women are more subtle about their intelligence. I worked as a medical doctor I can say without doubt that the Sergent's always had a thing for liking to express their achievements. You always knew who the intelligent men were. How-ever there was many nurses who would do things much more impressive than the doctors but they wouldn't tell anybody about it. It was always hard to know the intelligent nurses because they didn't share it very openly. Man, age 50 @Christopher: You have no history behind English Language if you think women means half man. Women from the language it was taken from meant "Womb-Man" or "Man with a womb." This is why earlier texts use the word "man" to describe both genders. Women were men, they simply had a womb. Both genders were men, its just that one had a womb and the other didn't.

I think that's an unsupported assertion, and TBH it goes against anecdotal personal experience. I don't know many men with 10's of thousands in finance debt with nothing to show for it.

One can also look up that women's IQ levels are, on average, about 2 points lower than men. The measure of intelligence is really subjective. Also, advanced child development is almost meaningless toward adult intelligence. So what if a girl is ahead of a boy at age 2. Nobody cares what a 2 year old can or can't do out in the world. What matters is the intelligence when one reaches adult hood.

All I can say is that I am sick of all these studies that seem to come out almost every month that say women are better than men at everything under the sun. It is clearly the product of a misandric society, when every month you are faced with study after study claiming women are better than men. Yet if anyone dare to say that men are better than women at anything there would be an outcry from women the world over calling for head of whoever said it. In this new misandric society men are worthless and we are reminded of it constantly.

Wow how intelligent you women are?

You can withstand pain better ,wow as if you know how it takes to be a guy (the emotional and mental tramuna ,the pressure from society) and don't forget wars.

women cannot withstand pain better ,they just experience more pain ,how many times you have seen guy crying over physical thing (even guys don't cry on something like kidney stone which is often compared to child birth )

Yes women handle money better than men in general ,i agree (they are better at wasting all the money in shopping )

First of all I am not here to fight but intelligent is not based on gender , in a class you will generally see 3-4 toppers which are generally 1 or 2 boys or girls .

I always wonder why these guys do survey on these things , there was a 12 year boy i guess In india who quilified for IIT (the most toughest competitive exam in india for engeneering ) .

people were shocked because its not possible for so many adult to qualify but for a kid?

Some people have extraordinary capabilities and this is depend on individual not gender.

I am not angry because I have seen enough guys outperforming girls in science and enough girls outperforming us in other subjects .

no gender is smarter than the other, GENERALLY there are things the other gender are better at but really we are all individuals and everyone is different, i always see different articles about this stating the other gender is more intelligent when in fact it's just stupid because your gender doesn't determine how clever you are.

if you look for it there are so many other articles stating the opposite and showing the test results they have done or whatever... usually these articles are just biased crap anyway

First question is: Dose that survey bother you. I've always know females have more common sense, but can't always allow estrogens to take that prize, *maybe later on for *longevity-sake, but not all women take artificial estrogen later as well, so could it just be still common sense?, Living longer is a sure thing, even without estrogens, as more an more doctors know it is not as healthy to take replacement hormones now, (newest data), but for the you can't control your self with the beauty deal, that's personal problem!.

This is a huge generalization. Both men and women posses different intelligence qualities - ie. women and their ability to reason, manipulate and articulate. Guys might have a less variety of words used in conversation but that is not an indication of IQ or intelligence.

Is that our only claim to intelligence, the ability to speak more words, withstand more pain and handle money? Surely there must be more.....
