Stupid question, but what's the part of a fishing rod that you grab and crank back to reel the fish in?

I just suddenly blanked on what it was called, but I'm writing something and I need to know! xP

Maybe I'm just having a brain fart because it's so late at night... Either way, help is appreciated!

The reel sits in the reel seat which is attached to the foregrip and handle.
