I wanted to make events for household items-- for example, walking up to a bookcase and pressing the action button prompts a text box to come up and list the names of books on she shelves-- things like that.

But for some reason, it won't work! The boxes over my selected items are tinted grey and nothing happens when I walk up to them in game and press the action button.

It seems like I can only make events where I'm talking to people. Can anyone help?

My cat scratches her ear a lot, which I know can be a sign of ear mites, but I've checked her for them and she doesn't have them.

The key detail here is the WATER that sprays out of her ear in droplets when she scratches it really hard. Can anyone tell me what this could be? Google keeps saying ear mites, but that's not it.

I was writing like this 4 page long thing, took me so many hours. I put so much work into it, saved it every 5 seconds, and now the whole damn thing is gone! I don't know where it went.

I checked every folder on my desktop, and the recycle bin. It wasn't there. Can someone please help me get this back?! It was really important to me.

I haven't played MS in like 2 years but I just downloaded it because I've been wanting to play it for a few days.

Anyways, when I log back in, my two favorite characters are gone! And I know I didn't delete them. They were my best characters. Did Nexon delete them? If so, why not my older ones that I played less?

Also, is there any way I could track their names to see if I might have made them on a sibling's account?

I'm stuck between getting a job like teaching, or becoming a career/guidance counselor.

Does anyone know which would make more money, if there's a difference?

Because every time I go there now, the page gets overtaken by Mucinex, Lysol, and other cold medicine ads. And it's sooo annoying, because I can't watch anything.

Each time I mute one, another one will restart and the sound comes back on. I can't watch anything!

Is there a way to get rid of these, or is everyone else getting them and it's just going to stay that way?

If it's something really popular, like Ouran, FMA, or evenItaKiss and The Girl Who Jumped Through Time or Red River, etc. I've probably heard of it/seen it. Also know some good old ones, like Sailor Moon, Ranma 1/2, or Hana Yori Dango, DBZ and YuYu Hakusho.

I've tried to redeem a Walmart Visa Gift Card on iTunes so I can buy songs, and I know I'm entering the right code in, but it keeps saying "invalid".

I registered the card for use on online purchases at walmartgift.com, and so I don't know why it's not working.

Basically, the story's like this: It's a series of snapshots of the lives of two people who end up getting married. The guy, he used to pick on the girl a lot as kids, and she became really shy and quiet. Now that they're older, he's fallen in love with her. This guy is very flamboyant and kind of feminine, so he really contrasts with the somber and serious girl he's after.

What would be a good name for something like that? I always get writer's block when it comes to titles... :(

It's nothing really, just an excerpt from something I'm writing. I wanted to know how good my skills are.

He chose a dry spot near the bank, and sat down in the prickly grass, breathing in the earthy scent around him. 'I really should come here more often...' he thought.

He looked at his watch again. 'It's only 8:18? Humph, this'll take forever.' He cupped the side of his face with a hand, resting his elbow on his knee. 'Though I wonder why she wants to do this? She's an amateur fisher, so she can't really expect to win this. Maybe she thinks I'll help her? No, that can't be. Pigtails is pretty brainless, but she knows I don't just help her if she asks. I must have told her a hundred times already. Surely she wouldn't forget that easily...' Crouching forward more, he furrowed his brow in concentration. 'What could she be getting at?' His other hand wandered toward the ground, and began fiddling with blades of grass.

'Wait! She's always going on about how she wants to be friends, so... Does that mean she asked me here because... That crazy girl, does she actually want... To spend time with me?'

The mere notion struck a wave of ice- cold fear into his belly, but he couldn't dislodge it from his mind. He began pulling at the blades of grass harder, jerking them around in frustration. 'Oh come on, don't be so pessimistic! Maybe she finally realizes that you can't be anything but rivals, so she wants to get serious about competing... In her own, incredibly flawed, terribly thought of way. Either way, as much as I speculate, I don't think I could ever know what goes on in that tiny, jumbled brain of hers...'

Jamie sighed. "I really don't understand women..."

"Why's that?" asked an innocent voice.

"I- Aaaah!" he yelped, jerking upward. As he turned, he saw Tina's eyes, warm and brown, peer into his own. She was bent over, her head tilted to the side, looking at him with curiosity.

Listen, I'm not saying the book didn't teach a good lesson or anything. I mean, it did, but..

I read in the back of the book (in a script of an interview) where the writer is talking to this guy about the book. And basically from my memory, this is what I got-

She writes the whole book just because she thinks she hears someone crying out in her sleep. She just hears this ghost of a wail from a dream, and decides to cook up this story about a poor girl who gets raped.

Well wait. So... she's never been raped, she never knew anyone who had been raped (to my knowledge), and so she's really just kind of pulling this stuff out of nowhere?

I'm sorry, but I just think that rape is so traumatizing and terrible that you shouldn't be writing a book about it unless you have some kind of personal knowledge of it, and not just hearing about it happening to other people in the news.

Now maybe she did know someone close to her that got raped, and if that's so then I don't really have a problem with it, but to me it almost seems presumptuous that she writes this whole book as though she really understands how a victim of rape feels.

I've never been raped of course, so maybe that makes my own argument invalid, but I just can't help but think that it was kind of wrong of her. That book became so famous, but when you think about it, she was pretty much guessing and skimming the surface of what it's really like.

Am I the only one who feels this way, or am I just being unreasonable?

But I just wanna know what this "instagram" is. I know it has something to do with pictures, but I don't know any more than that.

Long story short I've got a "Friend" on FB who is honestly crazy, sometimes I'm scared he'll come hurt me if I piss him off too much.

I know that if I un-friend him, he'll know, so I keep him on my normal friends list. But if I take him out of close friends, will he be notified, or would he see it on my profile or anything?

Please, I'm scared that if he finds out he'll find where I live, or call me up and tell me that he's going to kill himself because I don't want to be friends with him (again).

Okay, so I uploaded a document that I'm going to use as my next chapter. It uploaded successfully into the Doc Manager, but when I go to Manage Stories and click 'Add a New Chapter' the document I uploaded doesn't show up on the list of documents to use.

But it's IN my account, so why won't it work? Do I have to wait a few hours for the account to process it or something? I don't think this has ever happened to me before, and I'm confused.

Okay, so say I buy a 3DS, but I DON'T want to enable the 3D function. Like, I just want to play the games normally, and not have the image pop out into my face. I get dizzy easily, so I'm wondering if it's possible to play that way on a 3DS.

If someone could tell me how to get past that, I'd really appreciate it! :)

Does that event work in any girl versions, specifically More Friends of Mineral Town? If so, are there any requirements to trigger such an event, or do they happen randomly?

All day, I've noticed my top right eyelid has been twitching a lot. It stops for a while, but then starts back up again.
